The New Visitors Center
Panama Canal Expansion
 Observation Center

Here is a map on how to get to the new visitors center and some images taken from there.

Gatun Locks visitors center location map
To get there at the entrance of Colon in front of the Colon Free Zone turn left direction to Margarita and Gatun, follow that road and the signs to the Gatun Locks. At present you need to go first to the old Gatun Visitors Center and buy the entrance tickets there before heading out to the new Panama Canal Expansion Observation Center. Take advantage of the old facilities as you get a great close up view there of the locks operations.

Its well worth a visit if the weather is good and if you are  already at the Gatun Locks its not to far away and the road is paved all the way. Ask for directions at the visitors center if needed.
